Why Pineapple Jalapeño?
Dano used to make his own pineapple-jalapeño tequila at home in Colorado—fresh fruit, no shortcuts—and it disappeared at every party because it was “so smooth, it’s dangerous.” A friend finally challenged him to take it to Mexico, where he met Silvia, owner of Hacienda de Reyes, who agreed to recreate his recipe using only real, hand-cut fruit. The partnership was born, and the world’s first additive-free fresh-fruit infused tequila followed.
